Lanz Pierce is the definition of a cultured lyricist. Hailing from the streets of New York, the 23-year-old is a quadruple threat being a rapper, singer, songwriter and video director. The rapper started out as an unpaid intern cleaning equipment at the tender age of 14, and dropped out of high school to perform at BB Kings, SOBs and the Apollo. At 16 her drive caught the attention of the Jimmy Iovine landing her a deal withInterscope. Lanz Pierce is a force to be reckoned with and it won’t be long before Lanz is performing at your favorite award show. Fresh off of the release of her new single “Waterfalls”, and currently signed under her own imprint, Innovators&Aviators. The Vocal Vixen had the chance to catch up with the female rapper.
